Hotel Dominican mieści się w gotycko-renesansowym budynku charakteryzującym się elementami z 1319 roku, kiedy to powstał. Obiekt usytuowany jest w samym sercu Złotego Miasta, w pobliżu Biblioteki Narodowej i Rynku Staromiejskiego.

Hotel otoczony jest malowniczymi, wąskimi, brukowanymi uliczkami. Zaledwie 300 metrów dzieli go od słynnego mostu Karola. W niewielkiej odległości od obiektu znajdują się także inne atrakcje Starego Miasta, w tym zegar astronomiczny. Wszystkie hotelowe pokoje oraz łazienki zostały niedawno wyremontowane i wyposażone w nowoczesne udogodnienia. Zachowany został jednak ich wystrój w XIV-wiecznym stylu, a w niektórych pokojach – także oryginalne malowane, drewniane belki.
